Using techniques from gymnastics and circus arts, this class will help in building a technical foundation for hand balancing. We will deal with subjects such as wrist preparation, handstand body-line, shoulder mobility and positioning.
Course work will involve static holds, teach kicking into handstands. While it is not required, it is recommended that you are able to hold a 30 second straight-arm plank before registering for this class.
Februrary 20th: Handstands
February 27th: Handstands and other Straight Arm Arm-balances
March 5th: Bent Arm-balancing
$40 for individual classes, $105 for the series.
